I totally forgot to blog today. I spent most of my day swimming. It was so relaxing. Something I desperately needed. Anyway, there is a hockey game on, and I am enjoying my time at home. On my couch. I’m pretty much beat.

That was my pathetic post on home for the day.

This month I am participating in NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month) basically they give you a topic and you write about it every single day for a month.  This month the topic is home.  It is an interesting topic for me.  I have lived in a lot of places.

Home to me is any place you feel safe.  It doesn’t have to be necessarily where you live, or where your family is, or where your friends are.  I can feel at ‘home’ when I am on vacation and am stuck in a hotel.

One of the places I do feel at home is Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH.  It’s strange because as soon as I walked into that place I felt at home.  Seeing my boys play, cheering with people of similar interests.  I guess that saying “Home is where the heart is” is true, because those Blue Jackets are so close to my heart.

Anyway, that was my home post for the day.
